The allowances stated above are subject to change without notice. Please consult cabin staff if in doubt.

1. Allowances are for passengers other than those travelling between mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
2. Non-residents are allowed 400 local brand cigarettes and 400 foreign brand cigarettes. Residents and foreigners residing in Japan are allowed 200 local brand cigarettes and 200 foreign brand cigarettes.
3. Inflight sales are not available on flights between Singapore and East and West Malaysia, Christchurch and Auckland and between destinations within Australia, Africa, Middle East and within Europe (except Milan – Barcelona vv).
4. Wines, spirits and other alcoholic beverages brought in without prior permission will be confiscated.
5. Duty-free cigarettes are NOT ALLOWED into Singapore. However, passengers travelling on international flights on transit in Singapore are allowed to purchase duty-free cigarettes.
6. A returning US resident is entitled to bring back into the US US$800 worth of duty-free merchandise (inclusive of tobacco and liquor).
7. Travellers have to be at minimum age of 19 to be eligible for personal exemption limit.
8. Wines/spirits and cigarettes can only be imported by travelers at least 17 years of age.
9. Passengers must be aged 18 and above. If passenger holds a Hong Kong Identity Card, he must have spent 24 hours or longer outside Hong Kong.
